发明名称 REVERSIBLE HEAT-SENSITIVE RECORDING MATERIAL
摘要 PURPOSE:To widen the width of a transparentizing temperature and also to make it possible to form a clear image even when printing is executed by a thermal head long time after transparentization, by mixing a high-boiling solvent in a heat-sensitive body whose main constituents are a resin matrix and an organic low-molecular substrate dispersed in the matrix and further by making silicone oil be contained therein. CONSTITUTION:A heat-sensitive body whose main constituents are resin matrix and an organic low-molecular substance dispersed in this resin matrix and whose transparency changes reversibly dependently on a temperature, is prepared. In this heat-sensitive body in a reversible heat-sensitive recording material, a high-boiling solvent of a boiling point 200 deg.C or above, constituting 5 to 15pts.wt. to 100pts.wt. of the resin matrix, is contained and further silicone oil is contained. Getting into the particles of the organic low-molecular substance, the aforesaid high-boiling solvent helps to promote the growth of crystals and thus to widen the range of transparentizing temperature. The silicone oil is put in a finely dispersed state in the resin matrix and the organic low-molecular substance, since its compatibility with them is bad. The material thus prepared is heated in a transparent state by a thermal head, the organic low-molecular substance is thereby melted, and thereafter the crystals are educed by cooling. On the occasion, the silicone oil becomes nuclei of the crystals. Thereby minute crystals are made easy to educe and thus the lowering of opacity can be prevented.
