<p>A connector (1) which is suitable for connecting an elongate heater (2) to an elongate component (8) and which provides strain relief by gripping the heater in a manner which forces it into a serpentine configuration. The connector (1) is particularly useful for heaters (2) which comprise an outer insulating jacket (6) surrounded by a metallic grounding braid (7).
