<p>This invention relates to a numerical controller (CNC) for controlling a lathe capable of moving a tool in X and Z directions. This numerical controller comprises setting means (4) for setting a deviation distance (Δy) between a tool position and the center of a main axis in a Y-axis direction, correction quantity calculation means (7) for calculating a correction quantity in the X-axis direction for each pulse distribution on the basis of the deviation distance (Δy) and correction command output means (9) for outputting a correction quantity which is superposed on the distribution pulse in the X-axis direction instructed by a machining program. In this manner, machining error resulting from the deviation distance (Δy) can be eliminated.</p> |
