PURPOSE:To facilitate the work to press-fit a dynamic damper into a rotary shaft by forming at least one or more slits on a pair of fixed members fixed to the rotary shaft and extending the slits in the axial direction of the fixed members. CONSTITUTION:A dynamic damper has a pair of ring-shaped fixed members 1 inserted and supported in a rotary shaft apart from each other at a preset interval and having two slits 11 extended in the axial direction and expanded in interval in the peripheral direction. A mass member 2 having an inner periphery larger than the largest outer periphery of a drive shaft S and arranged between a pair of fixed members 1 is provided. The fixed members 1 are integrally connected to both end sections of the mass member 2 in an elastic member 3. The press-fitting work is sharply facilitated when the dynamic damper is fitted to the rotary shaft. |
