PURPOSE:To effectively eliminate noise while deterioration in tone quality is suppressed, by changing the noise eliminating period in accordance with the noise existing period, and interpolating a signal during the period. CONSTITUTION:A sound signal 200 and a noise eliminate signal 201 which shows where noise exist in the sound signal 200 are successively fetched into an analog shift register 20 and a shift register 40 which are controlled by a clock 212 of a clock generator 140, respectively. A controlling circuit 60 outputs the output from the analog shift register 20 through an interpolating circuit 110 while the noise eliminating signal is ''1'' indicating that no noise exists. While the noise eliminate signal is ''0'' and indicates existing of noise, the interpolating circuit 110 does not accept the output of the analog shift register 20 during this period by the output of the controlling circuit 60, and outputs while linearly interpolating between analog signal levels before and after the output. |
