The invention suggests a device which permits the loops (1) of load carrying lifting straps (2) to be detached from pin like projections or pegs (25) of a lifting frame or the like (18) by remote control. The invention essentially relates to providing a loop engaging device (28, 128) at each such projections or peg (25) upon activation intended to move a loop (1) threaded over a projection or peg (25) upwardly finally disconnecting it and thereby detaching the load carried by such strap (2) and loop (1) from the lifting frame or the like (18). |
