<p>A golf club swing training device (10) provides a base (12), preferably in the form of a mat (18) having an artificial grass surface (20), with a plurality of openings at predetermined locations (14) spaced about the mat (18) for selective disposition of upstanding swing guide members (16) to permit the user to arrange the guide members (16) in various arrangements (114, 214, 314, 114, 214, 314) to define any desired golf club swing path, e.g. an inside-to-square path (P) for the golf swings or a straight path for chipping swings. Mirror-image sets (14A, 14B) of guide member placement locations (14) are provided to enable the mat (18) to be used by both left-handed and right-handed golfers.</p> |
