A container comprises a lower part (16) which can be filled with water and an upper part (18) which is retained by a collar (22) formed on its lower edge on a corresponding collar (20) formed on the upper of the lower part (16). The upper part (18) has a top wall (25) with an opening (26) in which a pot (12) containing at least one plant (14) is suspended in such a way that its base (24) is located above the water level (WL). A wick (40) passes through a hole (64) in the base (24) of the pot (12) and hangs in the lower part (16) in order to supply the plant substrate with water through the base (24) of the pot (12). |
