PURPOSE:To efficiently coil a metal foil or wire rod by pushing the formed metal foil or wire rod to circumferential face of a cooling drum with a pushing pad and blowing detaching gas between the metal foil or wire rod and the circumferential face of the cooling drum. CONSTITUTION:The cast metal foil or wire rod 7 is pushed with the pushing pad 3 to prevent the irregular detachment of this from the circumferential face of the cooling drum 1. A pushing roll 4 arranged at downstream side of the pushing pad 3 holds the carried metal foil or wire rod 7 between this roll 4 and the circumferential face of the cooling roll 1. Further, a detaching gas blowing nozzle 5 is arranged at outlet side of the pushing roll 4 to blow the detaching gas 9 from the nozzle 5 to between the metal foil or wire rod 7 and the circumferential face of the cooling drum 1. By this method, the quality and structure are stabilized and relational position of a coiler can be freely selected. |
