PURPOSE:To almost eliminate small unevenesses on the surface and increase smoothness without requiring specific equipment by demolding a fiber-reinforced plastic product after forming it with a mold, remolding the product applied with uncured heat-curing resin on the surface, then allowing the heat curing resin to cure through heating/pressurizing processes and finally demolding the product again. CONSTITUTION:A fiber-reinforced plastic product is formed using a mold. The reinforcing fiber used is carbon fiber, glass fiber or polyalamide fiber, and these fibers are of high strength and elasticity. The available heat curing resin is epoxy, unsaturated polyester, polyimide, phenol or vinylester resin. Next, the fiber-reinforced plastic resin product obtained is demolded and heat curing resin is applied on the surface. Then the product is again molded, and thermally pressed so that the heat curing resin is cured. Consequently, the unevenesses are filled with the heat curing resin applied, if such unevennesses exist on the surface of the fiber-reinforced plastic product. |
