摘要 PURPOSE:To effectively utilize a laser energy at cutting time of the construction of a reinforced concrete and the like by scattering a melting body by making the sphere with smaller diameter than the groove width cut with fusion by a laser beam collided with the melting body produced by a laser beam. CONSTITUTION:The fusion cutting is performed by projecting the laser beam L oscillated from a laser beam oscillating head 1 on the structure C to be cut and in this case the infrared ray R generated by the molten body W which is formed on the structure C is detected by a pair of infrared ray detectors 3 which are arranged by pinching the tip of the gun barrel 2 for firing the sphere thereon and the axis of the gun barrel 2 is always set to the molten body W by this detecting signal. On the other hand, the sphere B with smaller diameter than the fusion cut groove width formed on the structure C from a spherical tank 7 is scattered into the set groove with its violent collision with the molten body W produced on the fusion cut groove by being fired out of the gun barrel 2 by the compressed air fed via an air hose 16 by being fed via a feeding pipe 8.
