<p>PURPOSE:To improve heat insulation property and rigidity by overlapping a mat made of glass short fibers with the diameter of 1-4mum and a mat made of glass short fibers with the diameter of 5-10mum and winding them into a cylindrical shape. CONSTITUTION:A mat 2 made of glass short fibers with the diameter of 1-4mum, i.e., fine glass short fibers of 35-100gr/m<2> preferably 50-80gr/m<2>, and a mat 3 made of glass short fibers with the diameter of 5-10mum, i.e., thick glass short fibers of 65-200gr/m<2> preferably 100-170gr/m<2>, are wound into a cylindrical shape to form a tubular body made of glass fibers. An intermediate layer 4 containing fine glass short fibers and thick glass short fibers is inserted between the mat 2 and the mat 3. As a result, it is prevented from becoming itchy or being broken or being bitten by a tack wire during handling, it has large heat insulation property and rigidity, and the occurrence of burning irregularity is prevented.</p> |
