Flexible coupling

The invention relates to a flexible coupling with a hydraulic damping device which comprises a displacement chamber from which a damping medium is displaced through defined gaps in the case of large angles of rotation. The displacement chamber comprises a capsule secured on the first coupling half and having a cam and lateral or radially outer walls. The capsule is an independent component which can be mounted radially from the outside on the inner disc-shaped second coupling half or, in the case of a split embodiment, can be threaded onto a bolt. This construction of the displacement chamber has the advantage of better adaptation to different operating requirements combined with simplified production.
