<p>PURPOSE:To operate a mouse even on a desk of narrow space by changing the indicating direction of the arrow head of a cursor to the direction where the travel speed of the mouse is increased. CONSTITUTION:A mouse travel detecting part 5 detects whether or not the mouse 1 is moved, and also, detects the rotating speed of the ball of the mouse 1, and accelerates the travel speed of the cursor via a cursor control part 2 when the rotating speed of the ball is increased. A mouse direction detecting part 6 detects the travel direction of the mouse 1, and controls the travel direction of the cursor via the cursor control part 2. A mouse travel speed detecting part 7 detects the amount of travel and the speed of the ball of the mouse 1, and detects whether or not the travel speed of the mouse exceeds a preset value. An arrow head change part 8 for the cursor changes the direction of the arrow head of the cursor to the direction where the travel speed of the mouse is increased when the travel speed of the mouse 1 by the mouse speed detecting part 7 exceeds the preset value. In such a way, it is possible to operate the mouse 1 even on the desk of narrow space.</p> |
