<p>PURPOSE:To expand the low band gain of a tracking control system and to reduce the cross talk amt. by dividing a tracking error signal in frequency with filters and feeding a high frequency component back to an electromagnetic driving type actuator while a low band component to a phase control system of a capstan motor. CONSTITUTION:The tracking error signal obtained by wobbling the electromagnetic driving actuator 23 in a rotary drum 20 is frequency-divided by the low pass filters 8, 32 and 33, and the low band component is fed back to the capstan phase control system (APC circuit) 35 while the high band component to the electromagnetic driving actuator 23 respectively. Consequently, the tracking of a fixed head 22 in the rotary drum 20 can be performed, while a tracking control on a movable head 21 can be performed. By this method, expansion of the low band gain of the tracking control system and reduction of the cross talk amt. can be contrived.</p> |
