The invention relates to a stackable bottle crate, in particular made of plastic, having four side walls, a crate bottom constructed as a grid, and compartment walls which are arranged inside the crate and bound the compartments to receive one bottle in each case. The crate walls are reinforced by hollow support profiles which run vertically and are arranged with lateral spacing from one another. The hollow support profiles have a closed cross-section. Furthermore, they project into the interior of the crate and thus form supporting or holding surfaces for the bottles received in the bottle crate. Provided in each of the compartments of the crate is a recess drawn upwards in the manner of an inverted dish. Furthermore, stacking grooves, in particular passing around the edge, are provided in the crate bottom.
