A high desk, which can be attached to a writing desk (14), has a vertical supporting column (10), on which a supporting arm (16) is mounted so as to be horizontally swivellable, which supporting arm supports a desk board (40) at its free end. The supporting arm (16) consists of two arm members (50) which can be swivelled in relation to each other. The desk board (40) can be swivelled by means of a vertical bearing tube (38).
