PRODUCTION OF KNITTED AND WOVEN FABRIC OF SPUN YARN TONE

PURPOSE:To obtain knitted and woven fabric of spun yarn tone having excellent handle by subjecting specific polyester undrawn yarn to fluid interlacing treatment, simultaneously drawing and falsely twisting the treated yarn under a condition not to eliminate loops and loosening to give falsely twisted yarn and subjecting knitted and woven fabric using the falsely twisted yarn to >=a specific wt.% weight loss processing. CONSTITUTION:Polyester undrawn yarn having >=0.029 double refraction index and >= shrinkage percentage in boiling water is subjected to fluid spraying treatment and is provided with loops, loosening and interlacement. Then the yarn is simultaneously drawn and falsely twisted under a condition not to eliminate the loops and loosening to give textured yarn, which is used to give knitted and woven fabric. The knitted and woven fabric is subjected to alkali weight loss treatment having >=15wt.% weight loss ratio.
