Pen with retracting tip - has tip moved backward and sideways and brought in contact with sealing ring

The pen has a vent hole and a writing tip held in a shaft and moved between a rear-supported writing position and a retracted position. The tip section is swivelled by a handle out of the longitudinal axis of the shaft and is supported by the tip now sprung onto a sealing surface on the shaft. The handle should consist of a slide formed from an L-shaped arm (13) fixed to the side of the tip section (10) and adjoined by an L-shaped entry (5) in the shaft wall. The free leg (15) of the arm (13) should have where it faces the tip section a sealing surface (16) which in the writing setting adjoins the shaft below the entry (5). In the sealed setting, the arm sealing surface (16) adjoins the outside of the tip section so as to seal off the vent hole (18). ADVANTAGE - Pen has swivel arm will sealing surface to close off vent hole when not in use and so prevent fluid evaporating and so keep pen functional.
