Conventional radio-frequency broadband transmission circuits of the type of a tap with directional coupler principle exhibit not negligible attenuation losses which are especially high in taps with a low branch attenuation. To minimise the remagnetisation losses by comparison and/or to reduce the core size, keeping the losses approximately equal, it is provided according to the invention that the output of the primary winding (11) of the second transformer (T2) is connected to a potential which is between earth and the input voltage but is higher than the earth potential. The RF broadband transmission circuit is particularly suitable for broadband communication networks. <IMAGE>
