PURPOSE:To provide a molded product improved in the oxidative deterioration resistance while retaining the good heat resistance and mechanical strength, etc., by immersing the molded product formed by the ring-opened polymer of a norbornene monomer in an organic solvent containing an antioxidant, etc. CONSTITUTION:A solution prepared by dissolving an antioxidant (e.g. 4,4'- dihydroxybiphenyl) and/or an UV absorbent (e.g. 4-t-butylphenyl salicylate) in an organic solvent (e.g. THF) capable of swelling the ring-opened polymer of a norbornene monomer is preliminarily coated on the inside surface of a mold and the norbornene monomer is subjected to a ring-opening polymerization in the coated mold to provide the objective molded product. |
