In injection nozzles of the generic type the object is to design and arrange the control slide valve (50) so that the valve needle (28) temporarily moves into the closed position between pilot injection and main injection. To achieve the object, it is proposed to arrange the control slide valve (50) parallel with the valve needle (28) in the nozzle body (10) and to provide fixed wall breaches (70, 80) in the nozzle holder (10) between the control opening cross-sections (72, 82) in the control slide valve (50) and the control passages (74-78) in the valve needle (78) or the pressure chamber (40).
