<p>A steel cord (C) comprises a core (1) and a sheath (3) arranged around the core. The core consists of two steel filaments (2), and the sheath consists of eight steel filaments (4). The diameter of each of the filaments is in a range from 0.30 to 0.42 mm, and a difference Dc-Ds between the diameter Dc of the filaments of the core and that Ds of the sheath is not less than 0.04 mm. The twisted direction of the core is the same as that of the sheath, and a ratio Ps/Pc between a pitch Ps of the sheath and that of Pc of the core is in a range from 1.4 to 3.0.</p> |
