Electrode installation method for structural concrete - using inclined bores for reception of electrodes enclosed by mortar bridges

The electrodes (1) are electrically coupled to the concrete via mortar bridge (6) and also to an earthed DC source via an electrical line. Outside the structured concrete, each electrode is contained in an axially slit sleeve, with a collection channel along the slit for the released salt. The pre-assembled electrodes and mortar bridges are inserted in the upper of two intersecting bores, a collection container being inserted in the lower bore. Pref. the bridges around the electrode are coupled to the concrete via mortar clips. USE - Salt removal and drying of concrete.
