A process for the manufacture of glass or glass ceramic articles with a graphite encapsulated insert. The encapsulation is made in the presence of one or more gas getter metals chosen from aluminium, chromium, niobium, tantalum, titanium and zirconium. The disclosure relates particularly to cookware articles. |
