CURABLE ORGANOPOLYSILOXANE COMPOSITION

PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition having excellent storage stability in uncured state and giving a cured material having excellent mechanical strength, etc., by compounding a specific amount of a specific resinous organopolysiloxane containing vinyl group, etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is produced by compounding (A) 100 pts. wt. of an organopolysiloxane of formula I (R is univalent hydrocarbon group free from aliphatic unsaturated bond; R<1> is unsaturated aliphatic hydrocarbon group; etc.) with (B) 0.1-40 pts. wt. of a resinous organopolysiloxane containing vinyl group and expressed by formula II (R<2> and R<3> are 1-3C univalent hydrocarbon group; etc.). (C) a resinous organohydrogen polysiloxane of formula III (R<4> and R<5> are 1-3C univalent hydrocarbon group; etc.) in an amount to give 0.5-5 hydrogen atoms bonded to silicon atom in total per one unsaturated aliphatic hydrocarbon group in the composition and (D) 0.01-3 pts. wt. of a straight-chain organohydrogen polysiloxane having Si-bonded hydrogen atoms on both terminals and expressed by formula IV (R<6> is univalent hydrocarbon group free from aliphatic unsaturated bond; etc.).
