<p>The mechanism according to the invention comprises a control element (28) which is displaceable under the action of a hand-operated component (25), a rocker (19) articulated by one of its ends on a contact arm (15) which is moveable, and controlled by the control element (28), and an energy-storing spring (22) cooperating with the other end of the rocker (19). The control element (28) exhibits a clearance aperture (36) into which there is engaged a drive finger (38) carried by the rocker (19); the control element (28) exerts on the finger (38) either a traction consequent upon an operation tending to open the contacts in such a manner as to cause, via the rocker (19), a quick opening of the contact arm (15) after a double pass through the dead point, or a thrust consequent upon an operation tending to effect closure in such a manner as to cause, via the rocker (19), a slow approach of the contact arm (15), followed by a quick closure of the latter after passing through a dead point.</p> |
