PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of a stapling error by inhibiting a stapling action under control if a comparison number is over a limit number is detected by a comparator. CONSTITUTION:A copying action is repeated until a copy number reaches a set number. If a sort mode has been selected when the copy number reaches the set number, a comparison number is compared with a maximum stapling number. If the comparison number coincides with the maximum stapling number, a stapling limit is warned after the sheet is discharged to a sorter. After that, a feed drive motor is turned OFF, and the copying action is interrupted. |
