PURPOSE:To attain appropriate color reproducibility in digital and analog copying operations by employing different color correcting means in an analog copying mode and a digital copying mode. CONSTITUTION:For analog copying, a halogen lamp is used as an illuminating light source 4, and for writing a digital image an LED head 71 emitting light of a wavelength of 680nm is used. To cope with this appropriate usage, a photosensitive body 21 possessing sensitivity reaching an infrared area is employed. Therefore, in the analog copying, a color correcting filter 77 corrects color. Namely, the filter 77 is inserted into an optical path between a tiltable mirror 14 and the photosensitive body 21. On the other hand, a color correcting filter 69 is inserted into an optical path between the mirror 14 and an image sensor 61. In other words, the filters that have the same color reproducibility in the analog and digital copying operations are used. The mirror 14 is in a position shown by solid lines in the analog copying mode, whereas in the digital copying mode where an original image is read out, the mirror 14 is in a position shown by broken lines. |
