PURPOSE:To test a radio line without the deterioration in the quality of a line or in the test efficiency by multiplexing a test signal onto a main signal, sending the resulting signal, allowing a decode circuit of a receiver side to separate the main signal and the test signal respectively thereby measuring the error rate of the radio line. CONSTITUTION:A test signal generating means 101 generates and outputs a test signal, a coding circuit 102 encodes the said test signal on a radio line 105 to be tested and sends the coded signal while being multiplexed onto the main signal. Then a decode circuit 103 provided at the receiver side of the radio line 105 separates the main signal and the encoded test signal, a test signal detection and discrimination means 104 detects the separated test signal and discriminates it. Thus, it is possible to send the substantial main signal as well as the test signal through the radio line 105 even during the line test as the normal transmission. Thus, the radio line is tested without deteriorating the quality of the line and the test efficiency. |
