PURPOSE:To realize exposure control in consideration of a focal depth affected by an image magnification by determining a shutter speed from a stop value and an exposure value based on both image magnification information and brightness information as a result of metering, and controlling exposure. CONSTITUTION:A program mode, etc., is selected by a microcomputer muC according to an inserted IC card CD, the stop value in consideration of a focal depth affected by an image magnification is calculated by a stop value determining means part based on the image magnification information, and the diaphragm is controlled by a diaphragm control circuit AVCT. In the same way, the exposure information is calculated based on the brightness information from a metering circuit LM. Then, the shutter speed is calculated and determined by the computer muC based on the calculated stop value and exposure amount, the shutter speed is controlled by a shutter control circuit TVCT, and a camera is controlled so as to realize proper exposure. Under this constitution such that the stop value and the shutter speed is not univocally determined with respect to the exposure amount, exposure is preferably controlled in consideration of the focal depth affected by the image magnification. |
