The invention provides a drive device for a door, in particular a garage door, in the case of which the adjustment of the door leaf takes place by means of a drive chain and, in the closed and open positions of the door leaf, the drive motor is switched off by means of a switching device. This is achieved by two signal generators which respond when reference elements on the chain drive are in positions which coincide with the signal generators. Said reference elements can be fastened, during mounting, on the chain drive in the two end positions of the door leaf. The precise adjustment of the signal generators with respect to the reference elements is achieved in that at least the signal generator assigned to the closed position of the door leaf is arranged such that it can be displaced. |
