In a lighting fixture with a reflecting grid, which has a lighting fixture housing (10), an elongated lamp (18) attached therein, lateral reflectors (17) and a reflecting grid (15), the lamp (18) is surrounded by a light-guiding body (19) having a prismatic structure. The prisms scatter the emitted light before the latter falls upon the reflectors (16, 17). In this arrangement, the prismatic structure can be totally reflecting in one sector, in order to achieve an asymmetric light distribution. The lighting fixture with a reflecting grid prevents the action of glare, because no light of the lamp leaves the lighting fixture housing without prior refraction, and thus the luminance of the lamp itself and of its reflected image in the reflectors are reduced.
