Adjusting device

A description is given of an adjusting device for a windscreen-wiper system with contact-pressure adjustment, in which an adjusting screw is secured in a threaded hole by a clamping member which is inserted into an axial groove and protrudes into the threaded region. In a particularly preferred embodiment, a closure plug is constructed in one piece with this clamping member for the blind hole-like reception of the hexagon socket adjusting screw.
