The utility model relates to a gas-discharge lamp. In the luminous efficiency of s, particularly compact fluorescent lamps, a temperature-compensating element (3) which is used for controlling the current of the lamp to change following the temperature is arranged in a control device of the gas-discharge lamp, particularly a miniature fluorescent lamp. The temperature-compensating element (3) is advantageously composed of a current-limiting reactance coil of a coil (9) with a central iron core (10). The iron core (10) of the reactance coil is acted with elastic force by a spring (11) and a bimetallic spring (12) so that the depth of penetration into the coil (9) is changed following the temperature. The brought induced change of the current-limiting reactance coil (L) can change the current of the lamp to change following the temperature so that the gas-discharge lamp is optimally operated independently of temperature. |
