PURPOSE:To stop an engine automatically by measuring the time passed from judgement and, when the measured time reaches a specified time, stopping the engine, when engine power is judged to be not transmitted to a drive wheel. CONSTITUTION:An output signal from an engine rotation sensor 1 is input in a detector means 7a and output signals from a neutral switch 2 and output rotation sensor 3, detecting rotation of a transmission output shaft through a drive wheel, are input in a detector means 7b where the drive wheel is judged whether it is rotated or stopped. The output signals from the detector means 7a and 7b are input in a time measuring means 7c and, when the drive wheel is judged to be stopped, the time passed from its judgement is measured. The measured time and a reference time from a setting means 7d are compared in a judgement means 7e and, when the time reaches the reference time, a one-shot timer 7f and engine stop relay 7h are driven to stop an engine. |
