PURPOSE:To excavate simultaneously a station tunnel and line tunnel by connecting a second shield excavator between first two shield excavators by which two subway line tunnels are excavated in parallel before the station. CONSTITUTION:First two shield excavators 1 with a smaller diameter by which two subway line tunnels are excavated and a second shield excavator 2 with a larger diameter to be placed between both of the first shield excavators, by which a station tunnel is excavated, are provided. Coupling blocks 3 to couple both of the first shield excavators 1 with the second shield excavator are provided. In the case the station is constructed, the second shield excavator 2 is inserted between the first two shield excavators 1, removable side sections of the bodies of the first shield excavators 1 are removed, and three units of shield machines are combined with coupling members 3 as a unit each other. According to the constitution, the station and line tunnels can be formed simultaneously and safety. |
