ELECTRODEPOSITION BATH FOR LOAD-CARRYING PLATFORM OF DUMP CAR

PURPOSE:To electrodeposition-coat the load-carrying platform of a dump car with a small amt. of an electrodeposition soln. within the service life of a paint by inclining the bottom of an electro-deposition bath to the upper right to form a rightward tilting surface, and discharging the exhausted soln. from the lowermost part of the bottom. CONSTITUTION:The load-carrying platform 14 of a dump car is dipped in the electrodeposition soln. 2. The main body 15 of the platform 14 is set on the leftward inclining surface 5 of the bottom 3 of the bath 1, and the front wall 16 is set on the rightward inclining surface 6 to incline the platform 14. A current is then applied to carry out electrodeposition coating. The exhausted electrodeposition soln. is discharged from an exhausted soln. port 7 provided on the right end of the horizontal surface 4 at the lowermost part of the bottom 3. By this method, the paint is efficiently consumed, and the exhausted electrodeposition soln. is easily discharged.
