PURPOSE:To make a pipe body cuttable straight so efficiently and handily by constituting a guide apparatus from a guide rail tightly attached along the pipe body, a guide plate guiding this rail free of slide motion and a cutter setting lever attached free of rotation. CONSTITUTION:At the time of attaching a power cutter 9, a screw 6a of a turning piece 6 is loosened to some extent, a tip part of a cutter setting lever 7 is opened and, after this cutter setting lever 7 is inserted into a setting hole 9b being installed in a tip part of a substrate 9a of the power cutter 9, the tip part is refixed to the turning piece 6 by the screw 6a. In this state, the power cutter 9 is attached free of rotation on a guide plate 4, while it stably slides on a pipe body P together with the guide plate 4 as being guided by a guide rail 1. Consequently, the power cutter 9 is situated at a cutting end of the pipe body P, turning a power switch to ON, and advances forward as holding a body holding part by hand, thus the pipe body P can be cut straight in the vertical direction. |
