PURPOSE:To obtain a royal jelly preparation not browning for a long period of time, having stable resistance to discoloration by adding a specific amount of a neutral saccharide to a conventional royal jelly preparation prepared by mixing royal jelly as a main component with fats and oils and a lipid. CONSTITUTION:Raw royal jelly in an environment at <=0 deg.C is mixed with 60-170 pts.wt. neutral saccharide such as starch or crystal maltose based on 100 pts.wt. calculated as lyophilized raw royal jelly, fats and oils, e.g. a middle-chin fatty acid triglyceride, especially preferably fractionated oil component such as coconut oil separately cooled and stored is reached to 40-50 deg.C within 30 minutes, a lipid such as bleached bees wax is added to the fats and oils and dissolved within 1 hour. The royal jelly mixture is blended with the fatty and oils and the lipid at 15-20 deg.C, stirred, cooled and the mixture is pharmaceutically manufactured onto a soft or hard type gelatin capsule or syrup in an N2 gas environment at <=0 deg.C to give a royal jelly preparation having resistance to discoloration. |
