PURPOSE:To make the subject device switchable responding to a variety of container production by guiding and feeding either of interchangeable wide and narrow strip tapes to a strip tape attaching means and feeding pull-tab tape to a pull-tab attaching means. CONSTITUTION:A strip tape means 13 is provided with a reel supporting part 19 to make the reels for use for wide and narrow strip tapes 2 and 3 interchangeable and renders possible the guidance of the tapes 2 and 3 through a tape carrying passage to a strip tape attaching means 11. A pull-tab tape feed means 14 feeds pull-tab tape from a roll 7R on which pull-tab tape 7 is rolled to a pull-tab attaching means 12. If, for example, the production is to be shifted from a container with a straw opening to the one with a pull-tab opening, the strip tape feed means 13 with the existing tape replaced by a wide strip tape 2 is used, a high frequency induction heating coil 111 and a pressing rail 113 are replaced with the ones for use for the wide tape, a punching means 11 and the pull-tab tape attaching means 12 are switched into operating condition and a packing web 1 is replaced with the one for use for the container with a pull-tab opening. |
