PURPOSE:To provide the title dental crystallized glass capable of giving an artificial tooth excellent in the appearance, organism affinity, strength, dimensional precision, etc., by melting the glass material having a specified composition, casting the molten material, and heat-treating the cast product to deposit a fluoromica tetrasilicide-based crystal and a calcium phosphate-based crystal. CONSTITUTION:The glass materials are mixed to obtain a glass contg., by weight, 40-70% SiO2, 5-34% MgO, 1.8-11% F, 0-2% Al2O3, 4-20% K2O; 0-7% ZrO2, 0.01-20% CaO, and 0.01-20% P2O5 and free of Na2O. The glass material is heated, softened, and cast. The cast product is heat-treated to deposit a fluoromica tetrasilicide-based crystal and a calcium phosphate-based crystal, and the dental crystallized glass is produced. Since the crystallized glass is thus produced by casting, an artificial tooth having high dimensional precision is obtained. |
