PURPOSE:To obtain the title adsorption suppressant which can inhibit agglutination between ribosomes and convert high concentration of hemoglobin into ribosome efficiently by using a compound having a hydrophobic part on one end and a hydrophilic part on the other. CONSTITUTION:The subject protein adsorption suppressant is composed of a compound having a hydrophobic and a hydrophilic polymer chains (e.g. polyethylene glycol(PEG) of 5 to 100 mole polymerization degree) bonded covalently or through an ether bond to the main chain, for example, a PEG-added nonionic surfactant in which a long-chain fatty alcohol, sterol, polyoxypropylene alkyl or the alcoholic residue in a glycerol fatty acid ester is bonded through an ether bond, or a PEG-bonded phospholipid composed of covalently bonded phospholipid and PEG. It is preferred to add 0.1 to 2% of a PEG-added nonionic surface active agent or 0.05 to 2% of a PEG-bonded phospholipid to ribosome suspension. |
