Mattresses comprising one or more movable elements 3 so that these mattresses can be regenerated when they become worn. The present invention makes it possible in a few minutes and with no tools to extract the removable elements of these types of mattress 6 when worn, and to replace them with new elements 3, which are really just spare parts. This regeneration can be repeated subsequently as many times as may be wished. The same method can be used to convert any other worn foam mattress other than those of the invention in order to regenerate them and render them regenerable thereafter also. Regeneration of car seats, aircraft seats and the like constructed according to this invention is also possible in a few minutes by the same process. <IMAGE>
