The subject of the present invention is a device which, inserted into a parlour game, enables a single player to ask questions and to obtain answers without human intervention other than his own. The method consists entirely of card slips distributed according to two types named here: the cards known as "receiver" cards ("R" cards in the drawing) and the cards known as "selector" cards ("S" cards in the drawing); in fact, the first ones are intended to receive the second ones which will select one of the symbols. The symbol zone 5 common to the two types of cards is juxtaposed and enables the user to recognise on the back the correct reply from those offered. <IMAGE>
