PURPOSE:To perform a stable paper feeding by mounting a one-way clutch for transmitting a driving force in only one direction on a driving power transmission means which transmits the driving force of a drive motor to second feed rollers. CONSTITUTION:Printing paper is fed into a paper guide by a paper feed tractor 21, led to a platen 24 by first feed rollers 25A, and discharged by second feed rollers 25B. However, if a slip amount between the feed rollers and the paper is more than the estimated, a slack of paper occurs. In this case, a one-way clutch 1 which is provided on a gear group 31B for transmitting a driving force in only one direction is actuated to freely rotate in a direction A. In this manner, the one-way clutch 1 absorbs a paper feed beyond the paper feed amount of the second feed rollers 25B with the paper press-out force of the tractor and the first feed rollers 25A and the stiffness of the paper itself. |
