The invention relates to slicing machines for meat and other similar products. The invention lies in the fact that a cutting blade 28 is used which is given a reciprocating movement by a motor 10 and which is supported by a plate which is inclined with respect to the vertical. A device for adjusting the thickness is placed in front of the cutting edge of the blade and serves as a stop for the product to be cut.
