PURPOSE:To enable play of variety by providing a means which generates a rhythm tone based upon pitch or sound volume data assigned corresponding to rhythm switches. CONSTITUTION:Pitch or sound volume data which vary in stepwise are provided to the rhythm switches RZ1 - RZ12. Namely, when one of the rhythm switch RZ1 - RZ12 is turned on, a rhythm tone which is set inside is set in a memory together with standard sound volume data and pitch data corresponding to the rhythm switch which is turned on. Then when a mode setting switch MO is pressed, a lamp provided in the switch illuminates and this operation mode is entered. When a start switch STAT is turned on in this operation mode, automatic rhythm performance based upon a rhythm pattern which is set in step input mode is carried out. |
