<p>PURPOSE:To correctly designate an item to be operated by touching even if the touch is executed from an arbitrary direction by providing touch detecting devices in two stages in the direction vertical to the CRT display surface. CONSTITUTION:The display device is provided with a second touch detecting device 14 consisting of plural light emitting elements 14a and light receiving elements 14b arranged adjacently in the X coordinate axis direction on this side of the CRT display surface 2 and plural light emitting elements 14c and light receiving elements 14d arranged in the Y coordinate axis direction, and also, provided with a first touch detecting device 13 consisting of light emitting elements 13a, 13c and light receiving elements 13b, 13d which are constituted in the same way on its outside. In such a case, a coordinate in which a production for connecting the coordinates detected by the touch detecting devices 13, 14 hits against the CRT display surface 2 is derived. In such a way, since the coordinate on a screen is derived from the production of two points, even if a touch is executed from any direction, a designated display item to be operated is detected correctly by the touch.</p> |
