In order to retain a scaffolding element, in particular a bracket-scaffolding element, on a building wall consisting at least partially of concrete, the invention provides a device which contains two hollow housing parts (13, 14) which are open on the end side, are to be cast into the concrete, are arranged in a mutually offset manner, in parallel, with transverse spacing and are fixedly connected to one another. In each case one releasably fastenable fastening part (18, 19) having a projecting fastening portion (20) can be introduced through the open end sides (16) of the two housing parts (13, 14). A retaining part (21) can be plugged onto the fastening portions (20), which retaining part, when the housing-part arrangement is cast in the concrete, can brace against the concrete surface and exhibits, on its front side, a retaining device (24) for the attachment of the scaffolding element.
